Its disappointment again for India at the Oscars, as Aamir Khan’s PEEPLI LIVE has failed to make it to the final nine of the Foreign Language Film category.

PEEPLI LIVE had left films like RAJNEETI and UDAAN behind to become India’s official representation at the Oscars, however, the Foreign Language Jury certainly did not get impressed with it. The movie is a satirical take on the farmer suicide issue, prevalent in India.
